Pharmaceutical industry expecting medicine demand to surge in near future

The pharmaceutical industry is expecting medicine demand to surge in the near future. According to of Indian Drug Manufacturers Association -IDMA, the demand will increase following spending on healthcare as a percentage of GDP slated to increase.   Drug Manufacturers Association said in a statement in Ahmedabad that the GDP spend on healthcare, which is hovering around 1.5 percent to 2 percent, is likely to go up in the near future.
