Petrol price cut by 21 paise a litre, diesel by 17 paise

Petrol price was today cut by 21 paise a litre and diesel by 17 paise. According to a price notification issued by state-owned fuel retailers, in Delhi, petrol now costs 78.78 rupees per litre while diesel is priced at 73.36 rupees.  Petrol in Mumbai costs 82.28 rupees per litre and diesel 76.88 rupees. With this, the reduction in rates in last 18 days now totals 4.05 rupees per litre for petrol and 2.33 rupees per litre for diesel.  Rates have been on the decline since October 18.

Petrol price cut by 15 paise a litre, diesel by 10 paise

Petrol price has been cut by 15 paise a litre and diesel by 10 paise. This is the 14th consecutive day that the prices have seen a dip. During this period petrol prices reduce by two rupee and diesel one rupee 46 paise per litre. The reduction came with oil firms cutting rates after softening of international oil rates. According to a price notification issued by state-owned oil firms today, petrol in Delhi now costs 76 rupees 43 paise a litre and diesel 67 rupees 85 paise per litre.
