Pankaj Advani wins his third straight Billiards title taking his tally of World titles to 20

India's ace cueist Pankaj Advani yesterday won his third straight IBSF billiards crown in the 150-up format, taking his overall tally of world titles to 20. Advani overcame Nay Thway Oo of Myanmar in the final.  This win also marks a hat-trick of wins for Advani in the shorter format. He had won in his hometown Bengaluru in 2016 before doing the same in Doha last year.

Pankaj Advani wins second leg of Aisan Snooker Tour in Jinan, China

Nineteen-time world champion Pankaj Advani today sent out a strong message before the upcoming world championships by winning the second leg of the Asian Snooker Tour in Jinan, China. Advani delivered a power-packed performance to outclass China's Ju Reti 6-1 in the final and become the first Indian to win an Asian Snooker Tour event. The IBSF World Billiards and Snooker Championships is less than a fortnight away and the Indian star cueist is the defending champion in both sports.

Pankaj Advani retains his Asian billiards title

Pankaj Advani has defended his Asian Billiards Championships title. In the summit clash at Yangon in Myanmar today, Advani defeated his practice partner B Bhaskar 6-1. With this win, Advani remains the reigning Indian, Asian and world champion in billiards for 2017-18. This is Advani's 11th gold medal at the Asian level of cue sports.
