India defeats Thailand in Women’s Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier in Salalah, Oman

In hockey, India defeated Thailand 5-4 at the Women’s Asian Hockey 5s World Cup Qualifier in Salalah, Oman, today.   For India, Navjot Kaur, Monika Dipi Toppo, Mahima Choudhary, and Ajmina Kujur scored. Piresram Anongnat, Aunjai Natthakarn, and Suwapat Konthong scored for Thailand.   Monika Dipi Toppo scored twice for India, while Aunjai Natthakarn scored twice for Thailand.

Indian football team virtually knocked out of 2022 World Cup qualifying round

The Indian football team was today virtually knocked out of the 2022 World Cup qualifying round after losing 0-1 to Oman in Muscat.
