Oil prices rise on news of COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Britain

Oil prices today rose buoyed by a COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Britain and the imminent approval of a vaccine in the United States. In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 49 dollars and 50 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 46 dollars and 10 cents per barrel.
