Oil prices rise more than 1% today

Oil prices rose more than one percent today. In intra-day trade, Brent crude was trading 1.32 percent higher at 81 dollars and 10 cents per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude was also trading up 1.45 percent at 76 dollars and 18 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
