Oil prices rise as Hurricane Delta approaches US Gulf of Mexico
Oil prices today rose as oil workers evacuated rigs in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico ahead of Hurricane Delta. However, fuel demand concerns persisted amid low chances of a stimulus deal and a build in crude inventories in the U.S. In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 42 dollars and 70 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 40 dollars and 60 cents per barrel.
