Oil prices remain steady

Oil prices today remained steady as investors showed caution assessing the effectiveness of oil release by major energy consumer countries from strategic reserves. Investors are closely watching the response of oil producing countries.   In intra-day trade, Brent crude was trading around 82 dollars and 20 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were at 78 dollars and 80 per barrel.
