Oil prices fall as uncertainty over recovery in fuel demand

Oil prices today fell as new restrictions to stem a surge in COVID-19 infections have increased uncertainty over the outlook for economic growth and a recovery in fuel demand. In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 41 dollars and 80 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 39 dollars and 50 cents per barrel.
