Oil prices fall amid concerns about new coronavirus cases

Oil prices today fell amid concerns that a surge in new coronavirus cases, especially in the United States, will hamper any recovery in fuel demand. In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading at 43 dollars per barrel while WTI crude prices were at 40 dollars and 50 cents per barrel.
