Sensex surges 635 pts; Nifty settles at 12,216

Equity benchmark today soared more than 1.5 per cent as global investors heaved a sigh of relief after the US-Iran conflict appeared to cool off. The 30-share BSE index surged 635 points, or 1.55 per cent, to finish at 41,452. Similarly, the broader Nifty surged 191 points, or 1.58 per cent, to 12,216.

Sensex up by 39 points; Nifty adds 18 points

Domestic equity benchmarks today closed with marginal gains amid positive cues form global stocks. Recovering losses of morning session, Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 39 points to end at 37,350. Nifty, at National Stock Exchange, also added 18 points to settle at 11,048.
