T20I Squad announced for upcoming New Zealand tour

Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami returned to the Indian T20I squad for the five-match series against New Zealand, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced last night. The selectors have excluded Sanju Samson from the 16-member squad with Rishabh Pant being the lone wicketkeeper.  Virat Kohli will lead the Indian team in the 5 T20Is against the Black Caps. Mohammed Shami escapes with minor injuries in road accident near Dehradun

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami has escaped with minor injuries after being involved in a road accident while travelling from Dehradun to New Delhi.   Shami, who is in the Delhi Daredevils IPL team, was returning to New Delhi from Dehradun in a car yesterday when it collided with a truck.  He sustained minor injuries and got a few stitches on his head. He is currently recuperating in Dehradun and is out of danger.
