Mohammed Hussamuddin enters quarterfinals of World Boxing Championships

Deepak Bohria of India defeated Olympic bronze medalist Saken Bibossinov 5-2 to go to the pre-quarterfinals of the 51-kg category of the World Boxing Championships in Tashkent on Sunday.   Later in the day, Mohammed Hussamuddin defeated Russia's Savvin Eduard 5-0 in a unanimous decision to enter into the 57 kg quarterfinals. He will take on Javier Ibáñez of Bulgaria for a place in the semi-finals and an assured medal.
