Mineral Production in the Country grows by 5.1% in December 2023

Mineral Production in the Country has grown by 5.1 percent in December 2023 as compared to the level in the month of December 2022. As per the Ministry of Mines, the cumulative growth of Mineral Production for the period April to December, 2023-24 is 8.5 per cent higher than the corresponding period of last year. Minerals that have projected positive growth during December, 2023 include Magnesite, Lignite, Limestone, Coal, Natural Gas, Zinc, Manganese, Lead, Copper and Bauxite.

Ministry of Mines generates over Rs 17 cr revenue by disposing scrap from November 2022 till August 2023

Ministry of Mines has generated over 17 crore rupees revenue by disposing of scrap and weeded out about 27 hundred files from November last year till August this year. The activities taken up as a part of the Special Campaign 2.0, the ministry could free up over 34 thousand square feet of office space. Overall Mineral Production increases by 6.4 % in May this year as compared to May last year

Ministry of Mines today said that overall Mineral Production has increased by 6.4 percent in May this year as compared to May last year.
