Mahendra Singh Dhoni was today dropped from the Board of Control for Cricket in India's list of centrally-contracted players. Virat Kohli has surpassed Mahendra Singh Dhoni to become India's most successful Test skipper. International Cricket Council yesterday turned down the BCCI's request to allow Indian player Mahendra Singh Dhoni to continue wearing the army insignia on his wicket-keeping gloves. ICC in a statement said that the regulations for ICC events do not permit any individual message or logo to be displayed on any items of clothing or equipment.
