Leander Paes, Marcus Daniell enter in semi-finals of Hall of Fame Open

In Tennis, Leander Paes reached the semi-finals of the ATP Hall of Fame Open with partner Marcus Daniell, edging out Matthew Ebden and Robert Lindstedt in Newport today. The third-seeded Indo-Kiwi combination prevailed 6-4, 5-7, 14-12 over the Australian-Swede team in the quarterfinals after saving three match points.   Next, up for Paes and Daniell are Marcel Granollers and Sergiy Stakhovsky.

Leander Paes eyes world record in Davis Cup

Veteran Leander Paes will make yet another attempt to create the Davis Cup record for the most doubles win as India clash with China in the World Group Play-offs, starting in Tianjin (China) tomorrow.
