Kohli, Suryakumar named in Most Valued Team of 2022 T20 World Cup

Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav have been named the Most Valuable Team of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan have also been named to the team. Players from six different nations form the team led by T20 World Cup-winning England captain Jos Buttler.  Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been named as the 12th man.

ICC names Kohli , captain of ICC's both ODI&Test teams of the year

India skipper and batting mainstay Virat Kohli today named captain of the International Cricket Council's ODI and Test teams of the year. Apart from Kohli, there were four other Indians who were picked in the ICC's Test and ODI teams of the year. While the Test team featured double-centurion Mayank Agarwal, opener Rohit Sharma, speedster Mohammed Shami and left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav found a place in the ODI side.

Kohli, Bumrah retain top spots in ICC ODI rankings

Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah today retained their number one position in the ICC batsmen and bowlers' rankings for the One-Day Internationals, following the conclusion of the World Cup. Another notable gainer in the rankings for batsmen is Ravindra Jadeja, whose valiant knock of 77 against New Zealand has lifted him 24 places to 108th position.  In the team Rankings, England have increased their lead over India to three points after their maiden World Cup triumph.

Kohli, Bumrah retain top spots in ICC ODI rankings

Indian skipper Virat Kohli and pacer Jasprit Bumrah have retained top positions in the latest ICC ODI rankings.  Kohli remained at the number one spot in the list of batsmen after he scored 310 runs in the recently-concluded home series against Australia which India lost, 2-3. Rohit Sharma remained number two. Kedar Jadhav's all-round effort helped him move up 11 places to a career-best 24th. Kohli, Rabada maintain top spot in year-end ICC Test Player Rankings

It turned out to be a glorious 2018 for India captain Virat Kohli and South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada.  Both maintained their respective pole positions in the year-end ICC Test Player Rankings released on Monday.  Kohli enjoys a 34-point lead over nearest rival Kane Williamson of New Zealand despite dropping three points.
