Over 2000 sporting talents identified for support under Khelo India Scheme

A total number of two thousand 437 sporting talents have been identified for support under the Khelo India Scheme.  Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju informed this in a written reply in the Lok Sabha. Under the scheme, the government provides financial assistance of about five lakh rupees per annum for a period of eight years.
