Key indices rise for 4th straight session and Rupee appreciates for 3rd straight day against US dollar

At the domestic stock markets, key indices rose for the fourth straight session and the Rupee appreciated for the third straight day against the US dollar today. The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 296 points, or 0.6 per cent, to close at 49,502.
