Ireland post their highest Test score of 492 against Sri Lanka

Ireland posted their highest test score of 492, riding on centuries from all-rounder, Curtis Campher and Paul Stirling in the second test against Sri Lanka at Galle. Ireland resumed from the overnight score of 309 for the loss of full wickets on the second day of the final test.   Earlier on day one, the visitors recovered from a wobbly start to stabilise their innings before going past their previous highest score of 339.
