US stocks end low; Dow Jones Industrial Average declines 0.8 per cent

US stocks ended lower on Wednesday, reversing gains after comments by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.8 per cent, the S&P 500 fell 0.7 per cent and the Nasdaq Composite index slipped half a per cent.
