India indices gain on positive US market sentiment, confidence In stable interest rate

The key domestic indices ended with gains today amidst a positive trend in the US stock markets and investors' optimism with respect to stable US interest rates. The Sensex rose 276 points, or 0.42 percent, to close at 65,931. The Nifty added 89 points, or 0.45 percent, to settle at 19,783.
