Intercontinental Cup 2019: India lose 2-5 to North Korea

The Indian football team was defeated by North Korea in their Intercontinental Cup match in Ahmedabad. The Koreans thrashed India 5-2 yesterday.  Jong Il Gwan scored two goals while Sim Hyon Jin, Ri Un Chol and Ri Jin scored one goal each for North Korea. Lallianzuala Chhangte and captain Sunil Chhetri reduced the margin for India. The loss put the home side at the bottom of the points table.
