India's Direct Tax collections up to 10th January stand at 86.68 percent for 2022-23

The provisional figures of Direct Tax collections up to 10th January continue to register steady growth. Gross collections are at 14.71 lakh crore rupees which is 24.58 percent higher than the gross collections for the corresponding period of last year. Direct Tax collection stands at 12.31 lakh crore rupees which is 19.55 percent higher than the net collections for the corresponding period of last year.
