Indian Rupee Closes at 83.04 Against US Dollar in Forex Market

In the forex market, the Indian rupee today ended at 83 rupees and four paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was down at 102.40, in intra-day trade.
