Indian rupee at Rs 83.12 against US dollar

In the forex market, the Indian rupee on 26 Jan 2024, Friday was at 83 rupees and 12 paise against the US dollar.   The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was down at 103.44 in intra-day trade.
