In Hockey, Harmanpreet Singh yet again scored a brace as Indian men's team thrashed Spain 5-1 for their third consecutive win in Antwerp, Belgium last evening. India lose to Australia in final match of Down Under tour

The Indian men's hockey team ended their tour Down Under with a 2-5 loss to world no. 2 Australia in the fifth and final match in Perth yesterday.  For the hosts, Trent Mitton scored two goals in the 11th and 24th minutes.  The other 3 goals were scored by Flynn Ogilvie, Blake Govers and Tim Brand. For India, Nilakanta Sharma (12th) and Rupinderpal Singh (53rd) registered their names on the scoresheet.

Indian men's hockey team registered a comfortable 3-0 win against Australia A in Perth today.  Young striker Sumit Kumar Jr struck a brace after comeback-man Rupinder Pal Singh opened the scoring.  Drag-flicker Rupinder, competing after nearly eight-month injury layoff, scored in the sixth minute to give the visitors the lead. Indian men's hockey team jumps one spot to 5th in FIH rankings

An impressive silver-medal finish at the Champions Trophy has helped the Indian Men's Hockey team jump one spot to fifth in the latest FIH rankings chart released yesterday.
