India take on Nepal in final of SAFF Football Championship in Male

The final match between Seven-time champions, India and Nepal in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship is underway in Male, Maldives. India is leading the match with two goals by Sunil Chhetri and Suresh Singh Wangjam when news last came in.   India on Wednesday defeated Maldives 3-1 to book their spot in the summit clash. India remained undefeated in this edition, having earlier played out draws with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and then beating Nepal.
