India leading 2-nil in final of Thomas & Uber Cup in Bangkok

In the final of the Thomas & Uber Cup Badminton, India is now leading 2-nill as Indian pair of S Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty defeated Indonesian pair of Mohammad Ahsan and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo 21 - 18, 21 - 23, 19 - 21 in a thrilling encounter in Bangkok. Earlier Lakshya Sen gave a perfect start to the Indian team by winning the first singles match. Sen defeated Olympic bronze medallist  Anthony Sinisuka Ginting 8-21, 21-17, 21-16.
