India beat Sri Lanka by 90 runs in U-19 World Cup opener

Defending champions India cruised to a 90-run victory over Sri Lanka in an opening group league encounter of the ICC U-19 World Cup cricket at Bloemfontein in South Africa last night. Batting first, India scored a competitive 297 for 4, with the help of half-centuries from their premier batsmen opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and skipper Priyam Garg.  Chasing a victory target of 298, Sri Lanka was all out for 207 runs in 45.2 overs.
