India beat Bangladesh 5-2 to lift SAFF Under-20 football championship trophy

India lifted the SAFF U-20 football championship trophy by defeating Bangladesh 5-2 goals in the final at Kalinga stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha last night. Four goals from Gurkirat Singh and a lone goal from Himanshu Jhangra ensured Indian Team a worthy comeback in the final match which had gone to extra-time. India won this championship for the second consecutive time.
