First Test match between India and New Zealand ends in draw at Kanpur

The first Cricket test match at Kanpur, between India and New Zealand, ended in a draw. Chasing the target of 284 runs, the visitors scored 165 for nine wickets. India's spin trio of R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel helped the hosts stay on top for major part of the final session. Ravichandran Ashwin became India's 3rd-Highest Wicket-Taker In Test, as he took 418 wickets.
