ICC announces expansion of women's cricket events post 2023 cycle
On the occasion of International Women's Day, the International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced the expansion of women's cricket events post 2023 cycle. In a press release the ICC said, more teams will compete in both the Women's World Cup and Women's T20 World Cup from 2026 onwards as part of the ICC's long-term commitment to grow the game globally and in a sustainable fashion.
