Hong Kong's stocks rise over 1%, other Asian markets decline

Asian shares today ended with a loss except for Hong Kong's Hang Seng which rose 1.6 percent. South Korea's KOSPI declined 2.2 percent, Japan's NIKKEI-225 fell 0.4 percent and China's Shanghai Composite index slipped 0.3 percent.
