Indian Junior men's hockey team suffer first defeat in Sultan of Johor Cup

Indian junior men's hockey team today suffered its first defeat at the 8th Sultan of Johor Cup, losing 2-3 against Great Britain in its last round robin match in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. With four consecutive wins earlier in the tournament, India had already entered the summit clash ahead of today's clash with 12 points. Indian men's hockey 'A' team beat Bangladesh 5-1

Indian men's hockey 'A' team beat Bangladesh 5-1 in last practice match in Bengaluru today.  Defender Rupinder Pal Singh starred with a hat-trick.  The experienced dragflicker scored in the 24th, 47th and 60th minutes. Rupinder's goal was followed by Gurjinder Singh's strike through a penalty conversion in the 27th minute. The other goal scorer for India 'A' was Vikas Dahiya.
