Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal said that it is a matter of pride for all the countrymen as the Hockey World Cup is being organised in India this time. The Hockey World Cup will be held from January 13 to 29 at Bhubaneswar in Odisha. Unveiling the World Cup trophy of the Federation of Hockey India at Chandigarh today, the Chief Minister expressed hope that this time the Indian hockey team will perform better and definitely win the World Cup.

Men's Hockey: Belgium crowned new World Champions

In Hockey, Belgium has claimed their first ever World Cup title. They defeated Netherlands 3-2 in a dramatic shoot-out in the final of the Men's World Cup in Bhubaneswar yesterday. Belgium will meet Netherlands in the summit clash of the  Men's Hockey World Cup  at  Bhubaneswar  tomorrow.
