Government extends restrictions on Sugar Export
The government today extended restrictions on the export of sugar beyond the 31st of this month. It is aimed at increasing the availability of sugar in the domestic market during the festive season. Earlier, the restrictions were imposed till 31st October this year. However, the restriction will not be applicable to sugar being exported to the EU and the US under CXL and the Tariff Rate Quota. <br />''<br />''<br />
