Gold prices rule flat in Delhi bullion market

Gold prices today ruled flat at 34,870 rupees per 10 gram in Delhi bullion market. Silver also remained steady at 38,900 rupees per kg.  Globally, spot gold was trading lower at 1,391 US dollars and 39 cents an ounce, while silver was down at 15 dollars and seven cents per ounce in New York.

Gold prices on Tuesday rose by 155 rupees to close at 32,650 rupees per 10 gram at Delhi bullion market due to increase in demand from local jewellers.  Similarly, silver prices surged by 425 rupees to 38,575 rupees per kg on strong demand from industrial units and coin makers. Gold at nearly 6-yr high of Rs 32650 amid increased festive demand

Gold prices today rallied for the second consecutive session, rising by 30 rupees to touch nearly six-year high of 32,650 rupees per 10 gram at Delhi bullion market amid increased festive demand.   Silver, however, continued to remain weak and fell by 40 rupees to 39,200 rupees per kg due to tepid demand by industrial units. Traders said sentiment remained positive on growing demand in the wake of upcoming festival of Diwali.
