Gold prices gain 220 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts

Gold prices today gained 220 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts in sync with gains in the international markets. The precious metal was trading at 47,500 rupees per 10 gram. Silver also rose 560 rupees to 65,010 rupees per kilogram for December Contracts when reports last came in. In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was up to trade at 1,781 US dollars and 30 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also up to trade at 24 dollars per ounce in intra-day trade.
