Gold prices fall Rs 40 at Multi Commodity Exchange for October contracts

Gold prices today fell 40 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for October contracts in sync with losses in the international markets. Gold was trading at 46,351 rupees per 10 gram. Silver prices also declined 300 rupees to trade at 62,470 rupees per kilogram for September Contracts when reports last came in. In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was down at 1,751 US dollars and 80 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also down at 23 dollars and 40 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
