Gold prices climbed at Multi Commodity Exchange for August contracts

Gold prices today climbed 300 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for August contracts amid gains in gold prices in the international markets. Gold was trading at 47,340 rupees per 10 gram.   Silver prices also surged 550 rupees to trade around 68,705 rupees per kilogram for July Contracts when reports last came in. In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was up 1,786 US dollars and 80 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also up at 26 dollars and 30 cents per ounce
