Gold down by Rs 60; Silver falls Rs 220 per kg

Gold prices today lost marginally by 60 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts. The precious metal was trading at 48,040 rupees per 10 gram in intra-day trade. Silver prices also fell 220 rupees to 62,440 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts when reports last came in. In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was down to trade at 1,823 US dollars and 20 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also down to trade at 23 dollars and 30 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
