Global crude oil rises to 75 dollars amid Omicron coronavirus variant threat to put brake on consumption globally
Global crude oil rose towards 75 dollars today, supported by record US implied demand and falling crude stockpiles, even as the spread of the Omicron corona-virus variant threatens to put a brake on consumption globally. So, Brent crude oil futures rose 62 cents, to trade at 74.50 dollars a barrel. US crude futures added 65 cents, to 71.52 dollars a barrel.
