Global crude oil prices fall amid rising COVID-19 cases

Global crude oil prices today fell on fears about the economic fallout from rising COVID-19 cases around the globe.   Crude prices also fell amid oversupply worries as OPEC and its allies are set to wind back output cuts in August.   In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 43 dollars and 40 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 40 dollars and 40 cents per barrel.
