Forex market: Domestic Unit closes at Rs. 82.02 against US dollar

In the forex market, the rupee today appreciated four paise against the US dollar. The domestic unit closed at 82 rupees and two paise against the US currency. The dollar index, which indicates the US currency's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was down 0.10 percent to trade at 105.21 in intra-day trade.
