FPIs infuse Rs 1,624 crore in Indian markets in January

Foreign portfolio investors have infused a net sum of 1,624 crore rupees into the domestic capital markets in January so far. As per latest depositories data, Foreign portfolio investors put-in a net of 13,304 crore rupees, in equities and withdrew a net 11,680 crore rupees from the debt segment between January 1 and 24. This translates into a total net inflow of 1,624 crore rupees.

FPIs pour in Rs 5,072 crore in Indian Capital markets

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs), have infused a net sum of 5,072 crore rupees into the Indian capital markets this month so far amid the government's efforts to revive domestic demand. FPIs pull out Rs 5,300 crore from capital markets in January

Foreign Portfolio Investors, FPIs, withdrew over 5,300 rupees crore from the Indian capital markets in January, indicating their 'wait and watch' approach ahead of the general elections.   Prior to this, they had infused a net sum of over 17,000 rupees crore in the capital markets, in equity and debt, during November and December 2018.
