Centre has sold 18.09 Lakh Metric Tonnes of wheat in 13 e-auctions under Open Market Sale Scheme (Domestic). Food Corporation of India, FCI, is offering wheat under Open Market Sale Scheme (Domestic) through weekly e-auction at the reserve price of 2125 rupees per quintal which is at par with the current MSP of wheat. FDI Executive Director says Centre provided one Crore 12 lakh extra food grains to Tamilnadu last year

The Executive Director of Food Corporation of India R.D.Nazeem said that the Centre's aim was to provide quality grains through PDS ensuring that no one is hungry during the pandemic.
