FIH Women's Hockey World cup: India to take on Spain in crossover match tonight for place in quarter-finals

In FIH Women's hockey World cup, India will take on tournament co-host Spain in the crossover match at Terrassa tonight for a place in the quarter-finals. In the pool stage, the India team, led by goalkeeper Savita Punia, played out two draws against England and China before suffering a 3-4 loss to New Zealand. India finished with two points, setting up a clash with Spain, which came second in Pool C. Spain registered two wins and a loss in the pool stage.

FIH Women's Hockey World Cup: Indian team to take on China in Netherlands today

In the FIH Women's Hockey World Cup, Savita Punia-led Indian team will take on China tonight in their second Pool B match in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. The match will begin at 8.00 P.M. Both India and China secured a draw in their respective first Pool B matches. India played out a pulsating 1-1 draw with England, while China also played out a 2-2 draw with New Zealand.

Indian Women's Hockey team announced for FIH Women's Hockey World Cup

Hockey India has announced the 18-member women's team for the upcoming FIH Hockey World Cup to be held in Netherlands and Spain from 1st of next month. India grouped in Pool B along with England, New Zealand and China will begin their campaign on 3rd of next month against nemesis England.
