India finished at the fifth spot in the inaugural FIH Hockey5s Men's World Cup Oman 2024 in Muscat after defeating Egypt in their final game by 6-4. India took a strong lead in the first half with five goals to Egypt's one. Egypt tried a comeback in the second half by scoring three goals in the second half but India held their ground and secured the victory.
