FICCI welcomes notification of Department of Heavy Industry for FAME II scheme

Industry body FICCI has welcomed the recent notification of the Department of Heavy Industry, bringing changes in the Scheme for Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles in India Phase II (FAME II).  Ms Sulajja Firodia Motwani of FICCI said, it is expected to accelerate demand for electric vehicles in two wheelers, three wheelers and bus segments.
